Greetings Mizzou Fans in San Diego! San Diego has a unique festival honoring the works of one of Missouri’s own, Mark Twain. TwainFest. Join us in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park (4002 Wallace St.) Saturday August 19th from 11am til 5pm. Hear works by Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Edgar Allan Poe and others, read aloud by San Diego actors. Play unique games designed especially for TwainFest. Take home FREE books. Hear tall tales, stories and poetry. Visit Dr. Frankenstein’s Laboratory. Delight in Giant Puppets. Learn to play the Fife and Drum. Vote in the Election of 1872.  Play Croquet with the Red Queen. And so much more. See you there! M-I-Z!
