Come walk with us (socially distanced, of course) for Race for the Cure in honor of Hannah Martine, MU alumna. If you don’t feel comfortable, you can still join our team and do the walk virtually on your own!
Hannah Martine, BJ ‘08 was a devoted chapter volunteer with various influences and roles on the chapter’s board of directors beginning in 2016. She passed away in February 2020 after a five-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. In memory of her life, our student scholarship fund has been renamed to the Hannah Martine Memorial San Diego Mizzou Alumni Chapter Scholarship. Hannah cared deeply about Mizzou’s students, and was passionate about fundraising to help local San Diegans with scholarship money. Additionally, in honor of Hannah, the Chapter has committed to honoring Hannah with an annual event in support of the fight against cancer.
